We are very excited to welcome Premier Machine Farm and Carriage and their beautiful Shire horses to our vineyard! This outstanding breed of feathered draft horse originates from England. Their colors are bay, black and most uncommon-grey.  According to the American Shire Horse Association, there are only about 3,000 ASHA registered Shires in the WORLD today. So as you can see, this is not only a stunning breed of horse but they are also rare! About the horses: Rahk is a 6 year old grey Shire. He is registered with the ASHA and foaled on April 17th, 2018. His name suits him-he stands at 17.2hh and weighs 2,000lbs. Whether it be farm work or dressing up for a special event, Rahk is always down for an adventure! He is very affectionate. Wolkyn is a 7 year old grey Shire. He is registered with the ASHA and foaled on April 24th, 2017. Wolkyn stands at a solid 18.3hh and weights 2,100 lbs. He enjoys working on the farm and skidding logs. He is very friendly and social.
